The Pursuit Counseling — Services & Specialties
We do therapy differently — concentrated intensives, structured programs, experiential sessions that get you out of the chair, and the everyday work of meeting people where they are.
It was never about the destination. The pursuit is the point — and we walk the terrain with you.

Beyond weekly sessions — deeper, faster, or out of the chair entirely.
Concentrated work in a shorter window — for the moments that need momentum, not another year of fifty-minute sessions.
Learn more →Evidence-based, structured therapy for specific work — including EMDR for trauma and nervous-system regulation.
Learn more →Sometimes the hard thing is easier to say while you're moving. Experiential sessions that work with the body, not just the conversation.
Learn more →Periodic group workshops on specific themes — a chance to do the work alongside others, offered through the year.
Learn more →The specialties and formats give the work its shape. Our counselors are what move within it — adapting to you, meeting you where you are, finding the right way through together.
Founder. Built the Four P's Method and leads the intensives.
Works with people starting over and finding their footing again.
Walks people through grief and the endings they didn't choose.
Works with relationships in transition.
Helps people redefine themselves when a chapter ends.
Works through the identity shifts that ask everything of you.
Good therapy comes down to two things working together: the right kind of help for what you're actually carrying, and a person you feel comfortable enough with to be honest. The specialties and the approaches matter — and our counselors are what bring them to life.
So take a look at the work we do and the people who do it. You don't need to analyze it — just notice what feels like it fits, and who you could picture yourself talking to.
And if you're not sure? That's what the consult is for. It's a free, no-pressure conversation to figure out the right starting point together — and if someone else on our team is a better match for what you need, we'll say so and connect you. There's no wrong way to begin.
Start with the work itself — the specialties above, plus intensives and programs. Get a feel for how we help and what fits what you're facing.
Read who they are and how they work. Notice who you feel like you could actually open up to — that instinct is worth trusting.
Fifteen minutes, no commitment. We'll help you find the right starting point — and the right person to get you there.
Beyond our counselors, a couple more things worth knowing — an accessible way to begin, and the heart behind how we work.

Looking for a more accessible way to start? Alyssa is welcoming new clients under the guidance of our team — a grounded, genuine place to begin, with the whole team behind her.

Not a counselor — but part of the family. EYO is the face of Everyone's Story, a reminder that every person who walks through our doors is carrying one worth telling.
We offer individual and couples therapy across our specialties — anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and addiction — plus more focused ways to work: intensives, programs like EMDR and neurofeedback, experiential and adventure therapy, and occasional group workshops. There's more than one way in, and we'll help you find the one that fits.
You don't have to know yet — that's our job. Start with a free 15-minute consult. We'll listen to what's bringing you in and point you toward the right counselor and the right starting place. If the first fit isn't quite right, we'll help you find who is. Get to know who we are →
Both. You can meet your counselor in person at our Fayetteville office or online from anywhere in Georgia — whatever makes it easiest to actually show up for the work.
We're based in Fayetteville, in the greater South Atlanta and Fayette County area near Trilith Studios. We see clients in person from Peachtree City, Newnan, Tyrone, Senoia, Brooks, and across the surrounding region — and we offer secure online therapy anywhere in Georgia.
A warm welcome and zero pressure. We pay attention to the small things — how you take your coffee or tea, the little details that say we see you — and we spend the first visit getting to know you and what brought you in. The first step is the hardest part. Once you're here, we've got the rest.
We're private-pay, which keeps your care between you and your counselor rather than an insurance company. We make getting reimbursed simple, though — we provide everything you need to submit for out-of-network benefits, and we've written up exactly how it works. Read how reimbursement works →
