We're a counseling practice built on a simple belief: life isn't about reaching some perfect destination. It's about understanding where you are — and learning how to move forward. It's the pursuit.

The more time I spent with people, the more I realized the most important part of this work isn't having the right answers. It's learning how to ask the right questions. That's how The Pursuit began.
I often tell my staff and clients that "why" is a $1 question. It's not a bad place to start — but it's rarely where the real work happens.
The questions that change things are the $100 questions. How can we show up better in our relationships? How do we build a stronger family? How do we live and work in a way that actually reflects who we want to be?
My mind lives in those questions. And that curiosity is what built The Pursuit — not the idea that we'll arrive somewhere perfect, but the belief that we can always move forward.
I'm also a long-distance runner. So I know what the long road feels like — that the work that matters is rarely one dramatic moment. It's the steady miles. The pursuit.
It's the pursuit.
Most practices hand you answers. We get curious with you — because the questions you've been afraid to ask are usually where the real change lives.
The stress, the drinking, the shutting down — those are the surface. We get to the pattern beneath them, the system that's actually driving it.
There's an actual arc to the work — recognize, understand, walk a new path. You always know where you are on the road, and where it's going.
Weekly sessions, intensives, programs like EMDR and neurofeedback, experiential therapy, workshops. The format flexes to you — not the other way around.
Not one approach repeated seven times. A real range of clinicians — from complex, court-involved work to adventure therapy — so you get the right person, not just an available one.
We don't promise to "fix" you. We believe in forward motion — and we stay in your corner for the long road, not just the hard week.
Care isn't just what happens in session — it's the hundred small things around it. Adam rethought what a therapy space should be, room by room: no two alike, no default chair-and-couch setup, every corner built so you can actually exhale. Walk through and see for yourself.

Because the hardest, most honest conversations in life happen at kitchen tables. So we built one.
Coffee, tea, whatever's yours — and no, you won't have to remind us how you take it. The small things say we see you.
Upstairs is where the group work happens — occasional, themed gatherings for doing the work alongside others.
Every room challenges the therapy-office cliché — different feel, different setup, none of them built like a place to nap. The right space depends on the person.
Sound masking runs in the hallway so nothing travels under the doors. What's said in your room stays in your room.
Coffee, tea, whatever's yours — we pay attention.

Any journey can feel like stepping carefully, unsure where the path is. But as things become clearer, you start to see where you're going — until you're no longer guessing. You're moving forward with intention.
Identify the thoughts, behaviors, and stress responses shaping your daily life — and how pressure, responsibility, and past experiences drive your patterns. This is the awareness it takes to move.
Explore the emotional drivers beneath those patterns — how past experiences, beliefs, and relationships formed the system you operate within. Understanding it creates clarity and eases the internal conflict.
Put practical tools into practice — new ways to respond to stress, relationships, and responsibility — until they become stable patterns. This is where insight becomes real change.
Real people, not just credentials. Get a feel for who we are — then dig into anyone's full story to find your fit.
